Shaun T Workout

Since I started my journey a little over a year ago I added three things to my bucket list…1.) workout with Wayne Wyatt (my coach and the guy that inspires me every day), 2.) workout with Shaun T (creator of Insanity and Asylum), and 3.) workout with Tony Horton (creator of P90X and P90X2).  These 3 people are such an inspiration to me.  They drive me to push harder then I ever thought possible.  Well in one little year I got to mark two of these off of my list!

Let me start by saying that becoming a member of teamRIPPED is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me.  We really are more then a group of people working out together.  We are family and I challenge anyone to find a team in Beachbody that is closer then we are.  In fact, as many of you know, in September thirty Team Ripped members flew and drove from all over the country and Canada to surprise Wayne and thank him for all he does. We had dinner, ran a Warrior Dash, played several hours of basketball, and just enjoyed each others company.  It was the highlight of my year.  So while I didn’t necessarily workout with Wayne this will do! LOL


Then this month I got to workout with Shaun T for 2 1/2 hours!  It’s pretty amazing to think a little over a year ago I was 267 lbs and couldn’t run a mile and now I’m hanging with some of the most conditioned athletes and trainers for hours at a time.

Lance Lyell and Shaun TShaun T was great and if you have ever done one of his workouts on DVD you know they are some of the hardest you will find.  I’m here to tell you he is even more intense in person if you can believe that!  Don’t let that scare you though.  We had 60 year olds working out and hanging with us.  Shaun T is amazing at motivating you and letting you know that it’s okay if you can’t keep up as long as you are pushing yourself to your maximu

Oh and for those of you that think he is Photoshopped….I’m here to tell you he is every bit of 5% body fat and just as ripped in person as he is in all of his pictures.  Dude is a beast.  That goes for Wayne also.  The only way you get as ripped as these two guys is by eating perfect and putting maximum effort into your workouts.

Two of the three new items on my bucket list are crossed off!  Not bad for a years work.   Maybe I’ll get to workout with Tony Horton this coming year at Summit in Las Vegas.
