Curry Chicken Salad Pita

Another great recipe for those of you on the fat shredder plan.  The Curry Chicken Salad Pita is great because its super easy to make on a Sunday and you have it ready for lunches throughout the week.  Plus it’s packed full of flavor!


  • 8 oz of chicken
  • 2 tbsp fat-free mayonnaise
  • 1 celery stalk (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion (optional)
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 1/2 whole wheat pita
  • shredded lettuce


  1. Boil chicken in water then shred chicken with fork
  2. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well
  3. put ingredients in pita and top with lettuce
